Terms of Use

Terms that govern your use of Cockpit Log.

These Terms govern your use of Cockpit Log (the “Service”) provided by Young And Rich (Rep. Hyeongju Park) (“we”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

The Service is a personal logbook app that records and displays your flight experience using your device’s sensors (GPS, barometer, motion, etc.). It provides features such as boarding-pass storage, flight-recording summaries, and map display.

Important: All data provided by the Service (speed, altitude, route, etc.) are estimates based on device sensors and are for personal reference only. They must not be used for aviation navigation, operations, safety, or any official/professional purpose, and may differ from official aircraft data.

2. Accounts

  • You may sign in with your Apple or Google account.
  • You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
  • You may delete records in the app, or request deletion of your account and data from us.

3. Your obligations

You must not:

  • violate any law or these Terms;
  • disrupt the Service, or reverse-engineer or copy it without authorization;
  • infringe others’ rights or submit false information.

4. Intellectual property

Rights in the Service and its software, design, and trademarks belong to us or the respective rightsholders. You retain ownership of the records you create.

5. Paid features

We may offer paid features such as in-app subscriptions in the future. Billing, renewal, cancellation, and refunds are governed by the separate In-App Subscription & Billing Terms and Apple App Store policies.

6. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

  • The Service is provided “as is,” and we do not warrant the accuracy or completeness of recorded data.
  • To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or special damages arising from your use of the Service.
  • This does not exclude liability for damages caused by our willful misconduct or gross negligence.

7. Changes to or discontinuation of the Service

We may change or discontinue all or part of the Service and will announce material changes in the app or on this page.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms in response to legal or service changes and will post updates on this page.

9. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. The court having jurisdiction over any dispute arising from the Service shall be determined in accordance with the Civil Procedure Act.
